WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM THE USA?

The USA has so many states that you can never get tired of travelling through. There are so many different scenic routes you can drive through, national parks to visit, bustling cities, historical monuments to see and scrumptious food to try. You are sure to be amazed by the natural wonders to cultural landmarks you will find in different parts of the USA.

I have experienced a wintery New York, fun-filled Florida after our transatlantic cruise and road trip to the glamorous LA, gorgeous San Francisco and shiny Las Vegas. I cannot wait to travel and see more of the USA.

TIPS WHEN TRAVELLING

Accommodation – Airbnbs allow a more immersive experience in unique properties locally owned. These can include charming apartments in bustling cities to cute little cabins in the wilderness. Hotels on the other hand offer consistent services and familiarity. Depending on the nature of the trip, camping whilst doing route 66 may be a good option when visiting some national parks.

Food – From coast to coast you will find many cultural influences in cities and street food vendors. From fresh fish in New England to the iconic barbecue of the southern states, every region has its culinary gems. Don’t miss out on experiencing the vibrant food scenes in cities like New York, San Francisco, New Orleans, and Austin.

Transportation – Van life has increased it popularity with adventure seekers which allow for a flexible road trip to discover hidden gems along the beaten path. Rental cars are great when travelling the wide American roads and there are lots of reputable companies out there. For longer distances and domestic travel flights can be a decent price with competitive fares.
